Better the devil you know...

Asalamu Alikum Guys,

Election time in the US and a dilema for Muslim voters in the states.

One one hand you have the Butcher Bush. A cowboy whos gonna 'smoke yah out' and on the other hand you have John kerry an ex soldier come hippy.
( Sheesh what a choice )

Okay the Rash pro and con test.

Bush:

1. Biggest idiot on the planet ( feel like poking him in the eye )
2. Cowboy ( i always hated westerns )
3. Looks like ventrilaqist doll

Kerry:

1. Hippy
2. Articulate
3. Ex Service man ( wouldnt want to send troops to fight unjust war ie vietnam.. maybe)

Both have pro Isralei opnions to the palestinian struggle.

Now you might think with this decisive and scientific study that Kerry is the ideal candiate for US muslims .... but I beg to differ.

No dobt Kerry is a more articulate man, Diplomatic, smart, has a decrotative service record (see above for relevance) , and generaly a more suitbale candidate for the white house and someone that you wont feel ashamed to call the leader of the free world.
Now imagine this scenario.... Aliens land on earth and they call for the most powerfull man on the planet ... and we send George W Bush. I think they wont hesitate to either inslave us into a race of 'Battery cells' (matrix stylee) or just obliterate us from existance.

But i'm still in two minds...

On the one hand you have this dynamic, fresh and outward looking cadidate and on the other you have good old predictable mudering barsteward Bush.
Hmmm (scratches head) at this point i think i would say .. 'better the devil you know...'

At least as muslim we know what hes capable of, at least we know the destruction and chaoes he has caused and is capable of doing, at least we can prepare for the onsalught ( Defensive Jihad ), at least we wont be fooled by our so called leaders and scholars into rallying around yet another non- muslim who wont have our interests at heart and at least we will know who we can relie on in the end .... Not Bush, Blair or Bin laden but ........ALLAH. ( sighhhh)

I promised my self that i'm gonna try my best to give up as much telly as i can especially during Ramadan .. but this i cant resist even though i know that the outcome for us is the same.
Kerry like most things is flavour of the month. If he gets into the white house i'm sure we will be chanting anti kerry slogans in the yrs to come........... so my message is clear ...... No man in the white house is going to do any muslims any favours.
